Hollie is an experienced Commercial Consultant who has many years’ experience advising on a broad range of commercial transactions and multi-jurisdictional projects. Hollie will be the key point of contact at Ignition for this work.
Hollie’s substantial experience has been gained in private practice at Pinsent Masons, as well as in-house for 6 years at TP ICAP plc (the world’s largest inter-dealer broker) where she directly advised the CEO, CFO and COO on day-to-day issues and high-profile operations. Hollie joined Ignition and now acts for a wide range of clients across all sectors, and specialises in large-scale commercial agreements, IT contracts, software and technology, framework agreements, goods and services. Hollie has also undertaken secondments at Barclays Bank PLC and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc.
Recent relevant experience includes:
- Negotiating various types of large-scale commercial agreements, including services agreements, software licences and global framework agreements for incoming services, data and products. Providers included Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, Amazon and Markit.
- Drafting and negotiating master agreements for the licensing of data to institutional customers on behalf of TP ICAP’s Data & Analytics division.
- Drafting and negotiating various software licences, SaaS agreements and software maintenance agreements.
- Drafting services agreements, terms of business (including consumer terms), website and app terms of use, privacy policies and cookies policies for various start-ups and scale-ups.
- Working with TP ICAP’s business to implement new products, innovations and systems, such as new E-platforms and portals. Experienced in taking the lead on such projects and coordinating all support functions (legal, compliance, risk, tax, operations etc.) to ensure a smooth and successful outcome for the business whilst navigating and mitigating the risks.
- Intragroup services agreements on a corporate-wide level encompassing EMEA, APAC and the US, to ensure suitable governance and accountability.
- Advising on the commercial aspects of corporate matters, such as mergers, acquisitions, disposals and business transfers.
