Freddie’s career began at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer before the financial crisis and continued at the US law firm Ropes & Gray. He has many years of experience advising on a wide variety of corporate matters, ranging from deals with listed companies and private equity M&A, to special situations, restructuring and insolvencies, to his most recent focus on new and emerging companies in their start-up and growth phases.
Recent relevant experience includes:
- Eighteen months spent in-house at a high growth fintech start-up.
- Acting as go-to counsel for the founder of an emerging manufacturing start-up.
- Representing SMEs and founders in relation to fundraising, exit and liquidity events, and any number of corporate advisory issues in between.
- Acting for a diverse range of PE clients, investment funds, and listed corporates in relation to acquisitions, disposals, ECM transactions, debt and equity restructurings and corporate rescues, takeovers and IPOs.
