Work

I trained at Bristows, then was part of the IP team at Harbottle & Lewis before moving in house, and then on to set up my own consultancy. I believe lawyers should enable rather than restrict, and that context is king. It’s important to get to the nub of a transaction and work out where the client’s priorities are.

A social cause I care about

Rethinking education – it’s become so narrow and exam result driven. Big Change is an example of an organisation which is trying to support changes in this area – big-change.org.

Other interests

I am also a yoga teacher and (fair weather) wild swimmer.
